| Process Cielo Cycles is unique in its approach to handmade bicycle fabrication. In the tradition of integrity, precision, design, reliability and customer service that has defined Chris King Precision Components for the last three decades, Cielo Cycles constructs hand built small batch American made bicycle frames of the highest quality. Each frameset is the collaborative result of our experienced build team. Utilizing small batch production, established frame sizes, and defined color schemes; each member of our team is able to give focused attention to specific construction details. We pride ourselves on our fluid and meticulous approach to frame construction. Cielo’s feature elements are designed and produced by Chris King Precision Components exclusively for our framesets. The headtube rings, rear brake anchor insert, seatstay plugs, brake bridge logo bead, fork crown, fork dropouts, vertical rear dropouts, and semi-horizontal rear dropouts are features that are unique to Cielo frames. These elements are combined with a custom selection of tubing from respected manufacturers Columbus, Dedacciai, and True Temper. Our Sportif Racer SE utilizes an elegant American produced KVA stainless steel tubeset. Every size and style of bike has its own set of tooling tubes, decreasing set-up time while maintaining a high level of precision and consistency. These parts are then assembled into sub-assembly pieces, fusing the intense focus of a one-off builder with the production efficiency of batch construction. When each frame is complete, we run it through the finishing process where it is precisely faced, tapped, cleaned-up and polished prior to going to paint. FRED 1, tu vois je préfère cela au kona Ti !! | |
